Equestrian Sports

Beaudesert Park is very fortunate to have its own riding teams, and any child with access to their own horses and ponies can join the teams, which are co-ordinated by the School’s Equestrian Team Manager.

The School is registered with the National Schools Equestrian Association (NSEA) and Schools Equestrian Games (SEG), and regularly compete in a variety of disciplines to qualify for the NSEA National, Plate, County Cup and Grass Roots Finals, as well as the SEG One Day Event Championships in September. Within the teams, children train individually with their own instructors, with occasional team training organised for the bigger events. During the Summer Term, the School also holds its own Show Jumping competition at Rectory Farm, which is open to children from Years 1 to 8 and caters for all levels and abilities.

Our school Polo Team is also incredibly successful, with a strong affiliation to Beaufort Polo Club, where our children can have lessons during activities on a Thursday afternoon. We are members of the Schools and Universities Polo Association (SUPA) and compete in competitions throughout the year, as well as sponsoring our own event in the Summer Term.
